At Hands to Hearts, our mission is simple yet profound: to empower rural communities in Baja Sur, Mexico, through education, resources, and self-sufficient medical programs. Hands to Hearts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering self-reliance in underserved areas. Founded on the principles of health equality and community empowerment, we address critical gaps in healthcare access and education. From hosting life-saving workshops to providing essential medical supplies, our work focuses on eliminating dependency and building sustainable solutions for lasting impact.
We work collaboratively with local medical providers and community leaders to assess needs and implement tailored programs. By delivering leadership training, conducting health awareness workshops, and providing a safe space for learning, we empower individuals to take charge of their communities’ well-being.
We reject the notion of dependency on external aid. Instead, we emphasize self-sufficiency by training locals, creating resource-driven programs, and offering continued support.
Hands to Hearts is tackling one of the most preventable yet fatal diseases in underserved regions. Through our ongoing initiative, we aim to screen 5,000 women for cervical cancer by April 2025, offering both training for healthcare providers and resources for testing and treatment.
From First Aid and CPR training to health awareness workshops, our educational offerings equip community members with essential life-saving skills and knowledge. These programs are designed to empower individuals and promote leadership within their communities.
